Where do I start? A poem about writer's block

Hunger
Hunger
A man was astray on a cold winter night.
He had to come out for food that had to be given to his poor hungry children.
He couldn't bear to look at them with those cold and dead eyes.
Their stomachs were small.
Their faces were hollow.
Their once-chubby cheeks had sunken into nothingness.
His whole family was hungry but his children suffered most.
I just hope he gets food for his children and himself.

The Salem Witch Trials
They wander through the world in the form of humans... they can turn you into a doorknob if you get on the wrong side of them. But who are these terrifying enchantresses?
Witches are known to be ancient harbingers of doom. They have always been feared and this fear came to a tipping point in the 1600s in Salem, (colonial) Masechutes. At that time, hundreds of innocent people were accused and executed for practicing witchcraft.
Tensions began to rise in Salem when two little girls started having strange fits at home. A doctor thought it was the devil's work so they started accusing people of being under the influence of Satin. Mostly, the people accused were "outcasts" of the Purtian soiceity.
And thus started the craziest witch hunt ever done.
Many innocent people were hung and a couple were even burned to death, all because they plead their case of not being a Satinist.
A memorial in Salem was made for the people who lost their lives to the paranoia and irrational fear that the Purtians had.

Drowning: A poem about what we are doing to the sea
Hi! This is a new poem that my friend and I came up with. This is a SLAM poem, meaning that it is meant to be performed.
Drowning
Drowning on land, as the tide runs too close,
The abyss of the ocean engulfs the shore,
Deep inland, the sea breeze blows,
The ocean creeps quietly, easy to ignore,
Mankind, blinded by their pointless affairs,
Don’t notice the sea sneaking in,
Until it comes and takes the land that the people thought was theirs.
An island of trash drifts on the beautiful, briny blue,
It floats with the waves, up and down, a display of damage we couldn’t subdue,
It traps the creatures of the deep in its waste,
The giants of the ocean choke on something so minuscule it could’ve been misplaced,
Drowning in their home, the animals gasp for a breath,
A small mistake, that can be fixed, could inevitably lead to their death.
Blue turned to a black web, spreading across the deep,
The tainted water unfurls, deep into the sea,
Leaving the creatures forever asleep,
Succumbing to something that can be so simply solved,
Their home turned dark from an act so small,
Their habitat dying from an oil haul,
Drowning in the depths of the Stygian sea,
This is their last and final plea.
Entangled in the nets, entwined with the rope,
A perfect reason to give up all hope,
Plucked from the ocean, from their sapphire expanse,
They could have had a wonderful life if only we gave them the chance.
Drowning in the ties, the cuffs of the traps,
Drowning in their home, the animals gasp for a breath,
Drowning on land, as the tide runs too close,
Drowning in the depths of the Stygian sea.

Why humans do not deserve to exist.
So, for today's blog post, I will let loose a rant that has been circling my mind for the past year.
Get ready folks:
Since the beginning of time, humans have dominated all of Earth. They quickly made it to the top of the food chain. We have ruled the world we live in and probably will keep up this rule for as long as we exist. But looking back, do we really deserve to have a place in this beautiful world?
Most animals in the animal kingdom contribute to the stable balance that keeps our planet alive. For example, ants turn the soil so that oxygen and water can reach the plant roots which help them grow. Even mosquitoes help the overall balance of Earth by providing themselves as a meal for larvae, flies, and frogs. Humans, on the other hand, have done virtually nothing beneficial for the earth in the five to seven million years that have been on this planet. On the contrary, they take from the environment, cutting trees from the ground, burning dangerous fuels in the air that contribute to global warming; the list goes on. What type of species are we if we can't even pay back to the planet that has provided us with everything we need for millions of years?
We have always believed that we are the smartest animals that are roaming this planet. But how will we know for sure if we never give any other animal the chance to grow and develop? Before, the entire planet was a shared world for ALL the species. But we have seemed to have forgotten that we still share this planet. As human cities grow, other animals are being pushed farther and farther into the sidelines. Forests are starting to become a spectacle instead of normality. If we keep on pushing these creatures into the shadows, how can truly be positive that no other animal is as smart as we are? If early and primitive humans existed in a time when another species dominated the world like humans do now, we probably would never have turned out as we did. We would be pushed to the side like we are doing to these animals. Humans have always been in control of everything around us. But what if we weren't? What if we were one of those species that had the unfortunate luck of living in a world with us?
Not only are we making life hard on those animals, but by initiating global climate change, we are also making life hard on ourselves. As the planet warms, the ocean will grow warmer, which will inevitability lead to stronger storms and natural disasters. That can't exactly be good for us.
Which brings me back to the question, "should humans exist in the world?" If we have done absolutely nothing to help the planet, other species, or, in fact, ourselves.
Thank you for bearing with me on this long rant.
Love,
Kaayana

Acadia National Park
Hiya peeps!
So, right now, I'm chilling in Acadia National Park; in midsummer. Anyways, today, my family and a couple friends hiked a dangerous trail called "Beehive Mountain." This trail is one of the most difficult trails. In a couple parts, there is just a small walkway that separates you between life and death. It was an... experience. But the views were absolutely worth it. Acadia is on the coast so we have a beautiful view of the ocean surrounded by mountains. At the top of every peak we went to, I demanded that everyone should stay at least 3 yards away from me as I contemplated my life decisions. It was very enlightening. I achieved nothing.
Beehive had provided ladders that you could climb to get to the top. If you made one slip, you would be going six feet under the ground. As we climbed my adrenaline was pumping. When I got to the top of the Beehive, I managed to propel myself into a bellyflop... on rock... on the edge of a mountain... it hurt.... a lot.
I hope you guys remember the "Alone On a Mountain" poem because I really felt it. :)

Happy Father's Day!
HI!!! So this is a little poem I wrote for my father last year. I found it again and I edited it greatly. Hope you like it! :)
A sound of music fills the room,
Now everybody is listening to the beautiful tune.
The melody wafts through the air,
The anonymous singer in his chair,
He is joyful and funny,
and acts half his age,
He'll not cease to make you smile,
in your darkest days,
However gloomy the world may seem,
He'll lighten it up like a radiant sunbeam,
Once with him, life isn't a bother,
He is my mentor, a light, my father
